BioWhat the heck is Socky in Sockland?
A webcomic about a sock puppet named Socky Sockerpants, and his best friend Sir Sockalot. Their circle of family and friends have grown quite a bit since the beginning. We used to have our own website, but we moved to livejournal because it makes life easier.
The Characters
Socky Sockerpants - The first sock puppet we ever drew
Sir Sockalot - His best buddy
Glovia - Sockalot's girlfriend ex-girlfriend girlfriend fiancée wife
Sok - Sockalot and Glovia's baby (girl) sockglove
Bob the Christmas Sock - Shows up in December; loves Christmas
Sarah - one half of the cousin duo who created the comic; likes to hang out with the socks
Daniel - the other half of the cousin duo who created the comic; he too enjoys hanging with the socks
Olim - A kitten Sockalot bought for Socky. Olim's now a cat and quite large.
Mr Stinky - A kid sock puppet; Socky and Sockalot's next door neighbour
Daisy - a female daisy who has recently befriended the socks
Goldfish - Their pet goldfish
The Other Holiday Socks - There are five other holiday socks that don't come around as often as Bob does. There's Ichabod the Hallowe'en sock, Doug the Canada Day sock, Seamus the St. Patrick's Day sock, Lily the Easter sock and Valerie N. Tine the Valentine's Day sock. They don't come around every year because they visit other socks as well, whereas Bob is pretty much obsessed with Socky and Sockalot, and likes to move in with them come Christmastime.

If you would like to submit a guest strip, email it to the email I just said but label the subject as "Guest Strip". Don't forget to provide your name and LJ username (if applicable), and it would probably be a good idea to comment on the latest comic and tell us you've emailed us (since we don't check the email too often)."

Q "So are Socky and Sok the same sock? I'm so confused... so much sock!"
A "Socky is the star of the show, the one with big blue googley eyes and red stripes. Sok is Sockalot's daughter, she's sort of small and has one blue stripe. The reason her name is Sok is because that is all that Socky can say, and while Glovia and Sockalot were trying to pick a name, Socky suggested that. Here is the comic where Sok was named: comic."
